One note: Pregnant women should avoid herbal teas containing licorice root, which can be harmful in high doses. Instead, stick with other options like peppermint, chamomile, and ginger, Rueven says. Also, be sure to consume caffeinated teas in moderation, adds Sasso-Karelitsky.
