‘Autumn Activation’ Event Series Bringing Pop-Up Classes and Activities to the Ballard Library – My Ballard

Over the next two months, free community events will take place outside the Ballard Library.

The Ballard Alliance and Council Member Dan Strauss have hosted 10 upcoming “Fall Activation Series” events, all scheduled for the outdoor space in front of the Ballard Library.

The series is part of an effort to bring events back to central Ballard while Ballard Commons Park remains closed.

Here is a list of events:

  • Saturday, September 24, 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Exercise class focusing on soft tissue and mobility organized by Strive & Uplift
  • Wednesday September 28, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Boxing and training classes hosted by the Nomad Boxing Club
  • Wednesday October 5, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Boxing and training classes hosted by the Nomad Boxing Club
  • Sunday, October 9, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.: Activities for children and music led by Illumination Learning Studio
  • Wednesday October 12, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Boxing and training classes hosted by the Nomad Boxing Club
  • Saturday, October 15, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: training organized by Ballard Health Club
  • Saturday October 15, 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Strengthening and balance class on one leg organized by Strive & Uplift
  • Wednesday October 19, 1 p.m.-2 p.m.: Boxing and training classes hosted by the Nomad Boxing Club
  • Saturday, October 22, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Training organized by Ballard Health Club
  • Sunday, November 13, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.: Activities and dance for children led by Illumination Learning Studio
