- The DownSideUp world of CAST
Every day, Monday to Friday | 10:30 am to 1:30 pm | Union of Nebraska tabletop kiosks near the food courtFind out how you can step out of your comfort zone and see the world in a new way with an interactive upside down map trivia game. There will be a chance for you to win a prize. Hosted by the Center for Academic Success and Transition (CAST).
- Cuisine, Culture & CASNR: Indian Cuisine
Tuesday November 16 | 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. | Leisure and wellness center, Wellness kitchenLearn more about Indian cuisine, farming, and how you can cook three authentic recipes! The class will be led by local chef Amrita Mahapatra, and free samples of tandoori chicken, sautéed vegetables and naan will be provided. Registration is not compulsory but is strongly encouraged to guarantee your place.
- Global Cafe and Connections
Tuesday November 16 | 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Hawks Room, AtriumThis is the flagship event of the 2021 International Education Week celebrations. All students are invited to join this evening to experience a taste of the world. By spotlighting local restaurant entrepreneurs, we’ll share success stories in a new culture. Registration is compulsory.
- Global Cafe and Connections
Thursday November 18 | 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. | ZOOMStudents from Kenya, Nigeria, India, Mexico, China, Spain and Guatemala will share their views as international students and fight some misconceptions about their home country. The panel, hosted by the UNL Racial Justice Alliance, will discuss how students have felt marginalized, assertive and welcomed in the US ZOOM link

Multicultural mixer
Monday November 15 | 6 p.m. Nebraska Union, Heritage Room
OSAB and CCSPC welcome the students, staff and faculty of the Multicultural Mixer. The first hour will be a round table on the term BIPoC. The event is followed by a networking opportunity for people to get to know each other. RSVP at https://go.unl.edu/mixer

Free STI and HIV testing
Wednesday November 17 | 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. | Nebraska Union, room 338
Free, anonymous and confidential HIV test with same day results. Anyone 13 years of age or older can be tested. Everyone who is sexually active should be tested for HIV every year.

Application for the Health Schools 101 workshop
Wednesday November 17 | 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. | Love South Library
Anyone planning to apply to a professional health school in the next couple of years should check out this event. Even if you are in your first or second year of college, it’s important to know the steps in the application process and what you can do now to prepare for your best application.
NOTE: This workshop will not cover information about applying to nursing school, x-ray programs, or dental hygiene programs.

LXB: League of Extraordinary Rocks
Wednesday November 17 | 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. | Outdoor adventure center
Join the weekly bouldering league in the climbing hall and compete against other students. Can’t attend the 7pm session? A Thanksgiving dinner at food centers
Thursday November 18 | 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Food centers on campus
All meal plan holders are welcome to enjoy the delicious annual Thanksgiving meal prepared by food services. Dinner is included in the meal plans.
The Abel, Cather and Harper Food Centers will serve dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
East Campus Dining Center will serve dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Quiz night
Friday November 19 | 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. | Nebraska Union, the crib
Grab some friends and join this quick, hour-long, all-NETFLIX-themed trivia game. The game will be played on Kahoot. Hosted by UPC Nebraska.

Campus Orchestra Show

Campus Orchestra is the string counterpart of other Glenn Korff School of Music ensembles that do not require auditions and include non-majors.
