Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The Emirates Dubai 7s, part of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, will feature a number of activities for the whole family, as well as thrilling matches and world-class musical performances from artists local and international.

Visitors can expect a jam-packed festival of rugby action, musical performances, live entertainment and delicious food and drink during the UAE National Day weekend from Thursday 1 December to Saturday, December 3.

Children of all ages will be delighted with a series of fun activities in three kids’ zones that will be available throughout the festival from 9am to 7pm, including arts and crafts, meeting cartoon characters, bumper cars, face painting, go-kart races, inflatable parks, etc. Children under 12 even get free access to Emirates Dubai 7’s.

From roving on-site entertainment teams to interactive installations and different genres of music played by popular DJs throughout the festival areas, the entertainment options are endless for every member of the family.

Soft play area for toddlers and toddlers: Zone 1 (0-6 years)

Parents can let their little ones enjoy an exclusive area for children up to 6 years old, with a colorful play area and a range of activities such as Lego blocks, a ball pool, guided manual activities , balloon benders and giant games. mascots to keep them engaged. Teenagers can look forward to a fun time at this year’s 7s in Zone 3 with a range of exciting shows including an inflatable battle zone, a ‘meltdown’ sweeper and a mechanical bull plus air hockey, football darts, table football, table tennis and arcade. basketball, plus a go-kart circuit, bumper cars and more.

To ensure the health, safety and cleanliness of the venue for all guests, the three areas will be supervised by animators at all times and surrounded by protective barriers. Drinks are not permitted in any of the areas and food will be restricted to the shaded picnic area in areas 2 and 3. First aid is available near all areas and first aiders are on hand to assist you .

With over 100,000 fans expected at this year’s festival, fans and visitors alike can expect an exciting weekend of music alongside rugby action on pitches 1 and 2, plus superstar DJs world famous – Cuban Brothers, Gorgon City and Craig David present TS5 – headlining Frequency on 8, a visual and sound experience and Beats on Two, a unique bar concept that overlooks all the action of Pitch 2.

Sports participation is also growing at the festival, with the addition of a new fitness competition, WODON3, an inclusive fitness competition for fitness elites as well as novice athletes looking to push their limits. This will join the invitational tournament favorites in rugby 7s, 10s, netball presented by Nakheel Community Management and cricket presented by Dulsco, with male and female entrants from 32 countries.
