HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES HAPPEN AROUND WASHINGTON CO. AND THE REGION

Halloween weekend is here, and in and around Washington County there are plenty of ways to celebrate.

Here are some of the events happening in the area:

FRIDAY:

  • Lee County Telecommunications is hosting a trunk or treat at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office from 5-7 p.m.
  • Waller High School Football Stadium will have a trunk or treat on the visitor side from 6-8 p.m.
  • A harvest carnival will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church pavilion in Fayetteville.
  • The Burton Pumpkin Patch will be open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

SATURDAY:

  • A trunk or treat will be held at the Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union location in Brenham from 2-4 p.m.
  • The Brenham Church of Christ’s Fall Festival will take place from 6-8 p.m.
  • The Brenham ISD Block Party runs from 5-7 p.m. at Fireman’s Park.
  • Shops in downtown Bellville will host a little Halloween tour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • A Trick or Treat Trail will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Burton.
  • A fall festival is held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Round Top-Carmine Elementary School.
  • Scare on the Square in downtown Caldwell is scheduled for 5-7 p.m.
  • Harmony Hall in Shelby will host a Halloween dance from 8 to midnight.
  • The Burton Pumpkin Patch will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

SUNDAY:

  • Downtown Chappell Hill will host Trick or Treat on Main Street from 1-5 p.m.
  • John’s Lutheran Church in Deanville will have a trunk or treat from 4-6 p.m.
  • At La Grange, trunk or candy events will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at La Grange primary school and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at La Grange Christ Church.
  • The Burton Pumpkin Patch will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

MONDAY:

  • The Brenham Boo Bash will take place in the parking lot of the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County in Brenham, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • Chappell Hill First Baptist Church is hosting a Family Fall Festival from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • The Boys and Girls Club of Austin County will host a trunk or treat in the club’s parking lot in Bellville from 7-9 p.m.
  • A Halloween carnival will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the High Hope Care Center in Brenham.
  • Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance Agency in Brenham will organize a ride or treat at the wheel from 5.30pm
  • Max Donuts and Shipley Donuts will be hosting a Halloween candy drive-thru from 6-8 p.m. in the Max Donuts parking lot.
  • The Prairie Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting Fright Night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Old Schoolhouse in Independence Town Square.
  • Brenham First Christian Church will be holding a trunk or treat from 5pm to 8pm
  • Brenham Quality Meat Market will be handing out sweets from 4-6 p.m.
  • Treats on the Streets in Navasota begins at 6 p.m. in the 200 block of Holland Street.
  • Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings will hold a trunk or candy festival from 6-8pm.
  • Silversage Assisted Living in Brenham will be hosting a ride or treat from 4-6 p.m.
  • Fall’s a Ball at West End Baptist Church in Industry will run from 6-8 p.m.
  • Trick or Treat on the Square will be held at the Fayette County Courthouse in La Grange from 4-6 p.m.
  • The Carmine Volunteer Fire Department’s Spooktacular Firehouse Fun will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Downtown Sealy will host a Boo Bash from 5-8 p.m.
  • A trunk or treat behind the gymnasium at Somerville High School will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Snook PTO will have a chest or treat from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Snook School parking lot.
  • The Chamber of Commerce of Wallis will host a trunk or a delicacy from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Complexe de l’Hôtel de Ville de Wallis.

KWHI will be hosting its own party on Monday night, as the Radio Halloween Party begins at 7 p.m. on AM 1280 and FM 101.7. Special and spooky guest DJs will be calling families from all over the area to offer over 50 prizes. Click here to learn more about the Halloween party.
