IFBB Academy Dubai training session ends on a high note

The IFBB International Bodybuilding and Fitness Academy in Dubai held a two-day advanced category training session at the City Season Hotel in Dubai.

The training program of the Level 4 course for bodybuilding and fitness trainers in the advanced category has attracted participants from the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Syria, Oman, Egypt, Russia, Iran , Pakistan and Yemen.

Engineer Walid Abdul Karim Muhammad Saeed, Managing Director of the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness Dubai and international speaker, opened the session on day one by shedding light on physiological responses and conditioning.

Later, he explained the principles of bodybuilding to the participants. International speaker and captain Sultan Alotbi briefed participants on breathing and muscle relaxation techniques.

The principles of bodybuilding were also explained to the participants during the practical session.

The second day of the training session began with a lecture by engineer Walid, who discussed anthropology.

Retired Colonel Abdul Karim Mohamed Saeed honored the guests and presented certificates to graduates of the previous course.

He also praised the wise leadership and support of IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja.

“I would like to thank Dr Santonja for his inspiring vision and continued support for the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness in Dubai,” he said.

Retired Colonel Abdul has been promoting the concept of bodybuilding in the UAE for over five decades. A decorated officer opened Dubai’s first gymnasium in 1984, known as World Gym, located in Bur Dubai.

After retiring from the force, retired Colonel Abdul took the decision to open the academy in Dubai and at the GCC.

His efforts paid off as the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness in Dubai, the only accredited center in the United Arab Emirates, opened in 2016. The IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness has branches in Saudi Arabia , Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq. .

“The IFBB International Bodybuilding and Fitness Academy in Dubai, launched six years ago, has achieved outstanding success so far,” said engineer Walid.

“The credit for this success goes to the hard work, which is in line with the approach and philosophy in line with the standards of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness.

“Very soon we will open the IFBB International Bodybuilding and Fitness Academy in Palestine and Egypt,” added engineer Walid, who holds a master’s degree and was the first Emirati referee to referee the championships. of the world of bodybuilding organized in Spain in 2018.

Shokri Balmani, an Iranian student taking a personal trainer course, praised the high standard of teaching at the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness in Dubai.

“The information provided during the study at the academy and the in-depth knowledge we gained during this two-day training session was perfect. The lecturers provided valuable insight into the topics covered in the session.”

Gulchachak, a Russian national who landed in Dubai seven months ago, also attended the training session.

“We got the best possible knowledge on the topics covered in the sessions, whether it was practical or related to bodybuilding and fitness,” said Gulchachak, who dreams of a career in powerlifting.
