Kajal Aggarwal getting ready to work on Indian 2, which features Kamal Haasan in the lead. As a fitness enthusiast, the actor believes in sweat! She learnt Kalaripayattu for over three years now. Taking to Instagram, Kajal posted a video of herself during one such session.

“Kalaripayattu is an ancient Indian martial art which results in practice in the arts of the battlefield. Plus, she added, it strengthens the seeker both physically and mentally. In addition to practicing Kalari, Kajal Aggarwal, who gave birth just four months ago, is taking riding lessons.

Kalari is a fantastic technique for honing a warrior’s deft agility while preserving the beautiful beauty of the dance. Balance, strength and flexibility will all be improved. It also teaches you how to defend yourself.

In its purest form, Kalari is a kind of self-discipline rather than aggression. It is meant to instill modesty and an understanding of physical movement.

The cast of Indian 2 includes Gulshan Grover, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash and Vennela Kishore.

After a long break, Kamal Haasan started filming the final scenes. Indian 2 is the sequel to Shankar-1996 vigilante action film Kamal Indian and photos from the first day of filming were posted by the actor-politician, on his official social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Shankar had announced that he would shoot Indian 2 and RC15, simultaneously. The director filmed an RC15 program (with Ram Charan) for two weeks earlier this month.

Indian 2 is supported by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions and Udhayanidhi Stalin via Red Giant Movies.
