Northwest Personal Training Week Prep Athlete of Week 26 Nominees

Here are the nominees for Northwest Personal Training’s Week 26 High School Athlete of the Week.

Voting will continue until 7 p.m. Wednesday, with the results announced in Thursday’s edition of The Columbian.

Athlete of the Week winners cannot be named again during the regular season, and no athlete can be named for consecutive weeks.

To avoid vote manipulation, voters must provide an email address. Votes are limited to one per day per email address.

Here are the nominees:

GRAYSON CALDWELL, UNION BOYS Athletics: Caldwell recorded a pair of area best times in the 400 meters (51.11) and 800 meters (1:56.37) with a few top-12 finishes at the Oregon relays.

MARY FOGG, MOUNTAIN VIEW SOFTBALL: The senior went 8 for 12 with four runs, a double, a home run and three RBIs in three games.

MAKANI GEISEN, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN BASEBALL: Geisen went five innings no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and went 4-for-7 with three runs, a double, a triple and four RBIs in a doubles sweep of Castle Rock.

JACINDA LEE, GOLF GIRLS OF CAMAS: Lee won singles and alternating stroke matches in the Titan Cup and was a medalist in victories over Skyview and Heritage.

GRACE TWISS, EVERGREEN GIRLS Athletics: Twiss posted the second best time in the state in the Class 3A 300 hurdles (45.57) in her win at the Willamette Falls Invitational.
