TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE AROUND INDIAN ROCK DAM ROAD FROM 4-6 PM BEFORE MOVING TO HOLLYWOOD DRIVE FROM 6-9 AM TONIG.HT POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYS THOSE IN THIS AREA MAY SEE POLICE CARS, TACTICAL VEHICLES AND OFFICERS DRESS IN PROTECVETI EQUIPMENT, BUT REMEMBER THIS IS ALL FOR TRAINING. Police hold training exercise in York Township

The York County Rapid Response Team and York County Regional Police Department will hold a training exercise on Thursday. Training will take place around Indian Dam Road from 4-6 p.m. The police department said people in these areas may see police cruisers, tactical vehicles and officers in protective gear, but that’s for training purposes only. Officers are asking the community to give the teams space to practice and not approach them. Police will be on patrol and ready to respond to any 911 calls if necessary.

The York County Rapid Response Team and York County Regional Police Department will hold a training exercise on Thursday.

  • The training will take place around Indian Dam Road from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • After that, the lineup will move to Hollywood Drive from 6-9 p.m.

The police department said residents of these areas may see police cruisers, tactical vehicles and officers in protective gear, but that’s for training purposes only.

Officers are asking the community to give the teams space to practice and not approach them.

Police will be on patrol and ready to respond to any 911 calls if necessary.
