Champs Homefield provided the perfect retail and experience model to host a unique experience for the sports and fitness performance driven community. POWERHANDZ led this activation with a surprise appearance from General Partner, NBA All-Star and Rookie of the Year, LaMelo Ball, whose Puma MB.01 collection is also featured.

Making full use of the innovative space, POWERHANDZ hosted private training for six local middle and high school basketball teams (girls and boys) led by coach and manager LaMelo Ball. jermaine jackson and strength and conditioning coach, mike fox. Each athlete trained with patented POWERHANDZ non-stick weighted basketball gloves and heavy weighted basketballs to improve ball handling skills, while wearing LaMelo’s MB.01 PUMA collection. Afterwards, LaMelo signed everyone’s POWERHANDZ basketballs and Puma sneakers, while guests were entertained by a high-octane performance by McDonald’s All American and first POWERHANDZ athlete POWER U & POWER University NIL , Flau’jae Johnson.
The POWER Takeover weekend culminated in a POWERHANDZ Invitational powered by The Power to Give Foundation which featured 5-on-5 matches led by the Wheelchair Basketball Association and an intense fitness class incorporating POWERHANDZ resistance bands and performance gloves. POWERFIT workout now sold in Champs Sports Homefield.
