Department of Community Activities and Services, at The Watermark, 209 S. Center St., Beaver Dam.

Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Active adult programs are open to people 50 and older. City residents pay program and activity fees. Non-residents pay an annual fee of $25, plus program and activity fees. For more information, call 920-887-4639 ext. 103.

The Community Center Courier newsletter lists activities and is available free at and citywide or $13.50 per year by mail.

The Watermark is a Monday-Friday Dodge County seniors dining site. Participants must be 60 years of age or older. A donation of $3.99 is suggested. Eligible participants should call 920-887-4639 ext. 102 at noon, one day in advance to reserve a meal.

Phenology: 1-2pm, April 14 Learn about the study of the chronology of natural events and Aldo Leopold’s important contributions to the field of phenology. Discover ways to observe and record natural events in your own backyard or local natural area and become a citizen scientist. Register before April 7.

Mental fitness for the elderly: Thursdays, March 19-June 7. The Fond du Lac County Seniors Dining Program offers daily meals with curbside pickup at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. Entrants must be 60+ or ​​married to someone in that age group.
