BRATTLEBORO – The Brattleboro Parks and Recreation Department will be offering adult pickleball in the Gibson Aiken Center’s third-floor gymnasium on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This program will begin October 19 and run until the 26th. April.

The Brattleboro Area Table Tennis Club will meet Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the third floor of the Gibson Aiken Center in the Red and Blue Program Room. This program will run from October 26 to April 26.

Adult volleyball will be held Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the gymnasium on the third floor of the Gibson Aiken Center. This program will start on October 21 and will run until April 28.

Badminton for adults will run from October 21 to April 28. This program will take place at the Gibson Aiken Center on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Kindergarten basketball will take place January 3 through February 14 at the Gibson Aiken Center. This program is for children currently enrolled in kindergarten who want to learn the basics of basketball. The skills will be taught in a fun and exciting way.

A youth basketball program for grades 1 to 6 will take place from November to February. Volunteer coaches are needed for all age groups.

Gibson Aiken Center’s free open gym and games room will be available from October 18 through April 30. Specific days of the week are designated for certain ages, with Kindergarten to Grade 6 having access on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and students in Grades 7 to 12 having access on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Public skating at the Nelson Withington Rink at Living Memorial Park will begin on October 23. Skate rental will be available at $ 3 per person. Discounted season passes can be purchased at Gibson Aiken Center through October 21.

Registrations for all programs and activities in the Fall / Winter brochure are accepted. In-person registration will take place Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
