WHEELING — Do you have an old bag at home? If so, this is an exciting event for you. The Wheeling Symphony Auxiliary is hosting the “Snag a Bag” auction on Friday, March 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Wheeling Park White Palace

Over 30 new and gently used designer bags, featuring brands such as Vera Bradley, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Clark, Dooney & Bourke and more will be auctioned off in live and silent auctions. In addition to the new bags, a range of handbags includes bonus items, such as gift certificates for local businesses, jewelry, accessories or themed items. Entrants will have the opportunity to bid on unique themed bags including Summer Beach Party, Fitness, Yoga, Back to School, Wine Lovers, Party in a Purse, Steelers Bags, L Oglebay Institute Summer Camp Adventure, Pampered Pet, and many more.

Raffle tickets are being sold for a chance to win a beautiful Tory Burch bag worth $348. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. The winner does not have to be present at the Snag a Bag event.

Help support the Wheeling Symphony and get a new purse in the process! Admission tickets are $15 each and can be purchased by calling the Wheeling Symphony office at 304-232-6191, from Symphony Auxiliary Members or at the door. The price of admission includes hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks.
