Harshal, since IPL 2021, is one of the most improved bowlers on the Indian T20 circuit and has slowly established himself as a regular in the shortest format for the Men in Blue after making his debut in the New Zealand series at residence. In 17 games, Harshal picked 23 wickets with a saving of 8.5.
Not just Harshal, India have been dealt a heavy blow in another death specialist, Jasprit Bumrah, who was ruled out of the Asian Cup due to a back injury. India will be hoping the likes of Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh can fill the void as the Men in Blue aim to defend their title in the continental tournament.
