NORTH WEBSTER – The following activities are scheduled to take place next week at the North Webster Community Public Library:

Summer Family Activities — The NWCPL Youth Department will present the following summer activities:
Paws-to-Read takes place on Mondays in June. Ages 5-12 can sign up for a time slot to read to a therapy dog.
Family history hours are at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through July 12.
Stevens Puppets will perform “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22.
The next Local Possibilities program is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and noon on Thursday, June 23, featuring the Whalemobile. This event is for ages 5 and up. There is no cost to attend, but tickets will be required and are available at the Youth Services office.
Friday craft hours, for ages 3-10, are set for 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 24. Participants will build a submarine. Tickets for the next Friday Family Food and Fun will also be available.
Absolute Science presents “The Big Bubble Show,” starting at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29.

Teen events:
Registration is now open for Teen Dungeons & Dragons. Space is limited; however, there is a waiting list. To register, contact the library and ask for Hanna. The game starts at noon on Wednesday, June 29.
The weekly Teen Café takes place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays. Teens can play Nintendo Switch, do homework, chat, and enjoy snacks, drinks, and coffee.

Programs for adults:
Summer hours for Fitness Thursday chair dancing are 4-4:45 p.m. Let’s Move starts at 5 p.m. Let’s Move will take a break in July and resume in August. Chair Dance for Fitness will continue throughout the summer.
Writers’ Corner meets at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, June 27. The writing prompt for the month is “write something containing three made-up words”.
The pros and cons of DNA testing begins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28. Interested participants are encouraged to register so that library staff know how many participants to expect.
Genealogy Sleuths is a new genealogy group that will meet at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays. The next meeting will be on Tuesday July 5th.
The Glean Team genealogy group returns to the library Wednesdays at 10 a.m., starting July 6.
