With the benefits of Open Enrollment for UM just around the corner, you’ve probably heard of a few improvements in the enrollment process.

What changes have been made to the open registration process in Wolverine Access?

The open registration process has been revamped to make ease of use a priority. Visit the Fluid eBenefits Advice Page and look at this step by step video for the basics – and even some shortcuts – to seamless registration.

How can I compare each UM health plan to decide which is best for me?

Three tools can help you compare health plans. Benefits Mentor, an interactive decision support tool, is the most recent. It uses your own health utilization data (if you allow it) or benchmark data to analyze which of UM’s health plans best suits your needs. Still need to compare? I am a new employee. When do I have access to my choice of benefits?

If you are a new hire or newly eligible for benefits, your options are available in the Wolverine Access Benefits Self-Service tile after 8 p.m. on the day of your hire or when your appointment is processed by your department and entered online, as applicable. is later. Show more information.

If you need more clarity, the Shared Services Contact Center (SSC) is UM’s one-stop shop. SSC representatives provide personalized service to employees, dependents, retirees and survivors.
