Willian is training with Fulham ahead of a potential Premier League return.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal winger is a free agent after leaving Corinthians in the summer as the Brazilian’s contract was terminated following an unfortunate return to South America.
Fulham have offered Willian a base to maintain his fitness as Marco Silva leads the rule over the 34-year-old, who made 259 appearances in his previous stint in English football.
The Cottagers are running out of options in large areas following injuries to Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon, although the evening standard report that Fulham are yet to offer the free agent a contract.
Fulham are currently considering a number of forward options as Silva looks to improve his squad, including a potential loan deal for Roma’s Justin Kluivert. Talks are also ongoing regarding Bordeaux’s Ui-jo Hwang, Bayern Munich’s Joshua Zirkzee and Brighton’s Neal Maupay.
Willian could prove a short-term solution as the club look to explore their options further and the winger has announced his intention to return to Europe. He also revealed last week that he had received death threats from club supporters as he struggled for his form and fitness at Corinthians.
